In 2016 CMS rolled out Pre-Claim Review (PCR) audits on 100% of the Medicare claims from all home health agencies in Illinois.  As Florida was preparing to be the next state targeted, CMS delayed the PCR to make improvements.  CMS has implemented their new Targeted Probe and Educate program as a replacement to PCR.  It is becoming increasingly important to provide quality documentation to prevent being targeted.  Attend to gain an insight on how the program works and what you can do to protect yourself.
